Engineering Intern (AI)

Location: Fully onsite in Augsburg, Germany, for 4–6 months.

hirify.global is a VC-backed startup building an AI-native operating system for renewable installers, integrating CRM, design, proposals, project management, and invoicing into one platform used by more than 3,000 companies across 13 countries.

What you will do

• Build and ship high-impact features used daily by renewable-energy businesses.
• Develop across the stack with TypeScript, including Node.js backends and React/Tailwind interfaces.
• Work with PostgreSQL and Prisma to handle application data.
• Turn complex workflows into clean, intuitive user experiences.
• Collaborate directly with product and design and see changes reach production within days.
• Optionally use Rust to extend simulations that predict customers’ project outcomes.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled at a university and available full-time for 4–6 months.
• Existing experience building things through side projects, hackathons, open source, working-student jobs, or previous internships.
• Ability to take ownership, move quickly, learn quickly, and focus on building and fixing problems.
• Interest in turning complexity into simplicity and caring about UX as much as clean code.

Nice to have

• Experience with TypeScript and React.
