Senior Mechanistic Modeling Specialist (Biotechnology)

What you will do

• Provide expert customer support for complex mechanistic modeling projects and lead and execute projects as a service.
• Deliver training courses for biomanufacturing customers and create customer education and marketing content.
• Provide input to the GoSilico Chromatography Modeling Software product roadmap and conduct software testing.
• Contribute to financial reporting, project portfolio management, business performance metrics, and internal projects.
• Present technical topics through conferences, webinars, white papers, and other customer-facing formats.

Requirements

• PhD or Master’s degree in biotechnology, bioprocess engineering, biomedical engineering, biochemical engineering, or an equivalent field.
• 5+ years of experience in downstream processing of biopharmaceuticals.
• Experience in mechanistic modeling of chromatography.
• Strong presentation and communication skills.
• Fluency in English, both oral and written.
• Ability to travel globally, including overnight stays, up to 15%.

Nice to have

• Experience in customer engagement or a customer-facing role.
• Experience with mechanistic chromatography modeling using ChromX or GoSilico.
