Quality Engineer III (eCommerce)

Salary: $89,856.00–$155,000.00 per year, plus annual or quarterly performance incentives

What you will do

• Support code development for eCommerce projects by reviewing requirements, contributing to project plans, and advising developers on quality, testability, and reliability.
• Perform quality assurance testing for large-scale web applications, tools, and software by creating, approving, executing, and evaluating test cases.
• Develop SQA test plans covering testing scope, data and environment requirements, dependencies, risks, and test-deliverable schedules.
• Participate in project and cross-functional teams, conduct unit testing, communicate status and issues, troubleshoot bugs, and support on-time delivery.
• Investigate testing issues by querying logs and databases, reviewing configuration files and algorithms, resolving minor code errors, and recommending fixes.
• Provide expert guidance, build stakeholder relationships, identify business needs, and support implementation and continuous improvement of business solutions.

Requirements

• Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience using Selenium to write automation code for service and application testing.
• Experience coding in Java and using object-oriented programming.
• Experience using HTML to find automation elements, TestNG for automation, waits, and test reports, and CSS for webpage and UI testing.
• Experience using Postman to verify and test REST API payloads and responses.
• Experience using SQL to verify database connections and stored procedures and to validate stored data.
• Experience using Git for version control and implementing CI/CD with Looper.
• Experience using WinAppDriver to connect to desktop applications and write automated test cases.
• Experience using AngularJS and Android Studio to create applications. No specific number of years of experience is required; any amount of experience with the listed skills is acceptable.
