Senior QA Analyst (QA Automation)

Salary: $121,389–$148,800 per year

What you will do

• Interpret business and functional requirements and lead comprehensive test design across scenario variations.
• Lead QA activities across the full lifecycle, including scope definition, estimation, test planning, regression, integration, API, and end-to-end testing.
• Develop and enhance automation frameworks and convert manual regression suites into automated pipelines.
• Integrate automated testing with DevOps CI/CD pipelines and support execution in AWS-based environments.
• Manage traceability, defect triage, retesting, QA reporting, and release documentation using JIRA, Zephyr, and Confluence.
• Evaluate tools and platforms, conduct POCs, and collaborate with Development, Business, and QA leadership on DevOps strategies and implementation plans.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or equivalent in Software Engineering or a related field plus 5 years of experience in absence management workflows or related experience.
• Experience developing and maintaining test plans, test cases, test scripts, and test frameworks.
• Experience defining strategies for functional, regression, integration, cross-browser, mobile, and performance testing.
• Experience with Selenium WebDriver and Java for web and API test automation.
• Experience validating defect fixes, performing root cause analysis, and managing defects in JIRA.
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and supporting automation in AWS environments.
• Experience with TestNG, JUnit, Maven, Cucumber, and BDD/TDD practices.
• Experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, and GitHub or Bitbucket.
• Experience documenting test plans, cases, and results in JIRA, Zephyr, or qTest and participating in Agile ceremonies.
