Senior Software Engineer (AI)

Salary: $90,000–$180,000 per year, plus annual or quarterly performance incentives.

What you will do

• Deliver scoped software features and ML model components through collaborative engineering teams, including implementation, testing, iteration, and ongoing support.
• Write reliable code and execute the full software development lifecycle across CI/CD, automated testing, observability, monitoring, maintenance, and defect resolution.
• Integrate AI agents and ML components through internal and external APIs and use GenAI development tools such as GitHub Copilot.
• Translate high-level designs into detailed technical solutions, evaluate trade-offs, participate in design reviews, and build scalable, secure, and maintainable systems.
• Define business and user problems with stakeholders, convert pain points into technical requirements, and establish metrics for solution success.
• Monitor application performance, support project reporting and delivery milestones, and contribute to engineering excellence, mentorship, knowledge sharing, and system reliability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field plus 3 years of software engineering or related experience; or a master’s degree or equivalent plus 1 year of such experience.
• Experience with software development and coding in an object-oriented language such as Java, Python, or C; the employer will accept any amount of experience with the required skills.
• Experience with Azure DevOps and continuous integration, delivery, and deployment.
• Experience with database architecture, Microsoft SQL Database, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Google BigQuery, MongoDB, and CosmosDB.
• Experience with Concord, Jenkins, Looper, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, JUnit, and Mockito.
• Experience with automated testing using RestAssured and Cucumber, as well as project management.
