Senior Data Scientist (AI) – Supply Chain Optimization

Salary: $110,302–$180,000 per year, plus annual or quarterly performance incentives.

What you will do

• Design and deploy intelligent agents for customer delivery promises, fulfillment routing, root-cause analysis, and end-to-end supply-chain workflows.
• Build reasoning, planning, tool-using, and short- and long-term memory capabilities with LangChain, LangGraph, Google ADK, Pydantic, and leading LLMs.
• Develop NLP, deep learning, predictive modeling, RAG, knowledge graph, and vector database solutions for logistics policies, SOPs, network constraints, ETA prediction, and reliability.
• Deploy AI/ML and agentic systems using Docker, Kubernetes, GCP or Azure, Airflow, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Develop evaluation and observability frameworks to measure accuracy, hallucination rates, latency, cost, and production performance.
• Translate current AI research into scalable enterprise solutions for end-to-end supply-chain improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Analytics, Engineering, or a related field plus 1 year of experience in analytics or a related field; or a master’s degree or equivalent in one of these fields.
• Experience building deep learning model architectures in Python with PyTorch, TensorFlow, and LangChain.
• Experience pre-training or fine-tuning HuggingFace or TFHub language models for NLP tasks such as natural language inference and question answering using open-source corpora including SQuAD and MNLI.
• Experience using generative GPT models and encoder-based models such as BERT, RoBERTa, and DistilBERT for language-based reasoning problems.
• Experience with WordNet, SpaCy, and NLTK for computational semantics and linguistic analysis.
• Experience applying statistical and modeling methods including graphical models, Bayesian inference, neural networks, SVM, Random Forest, clustering, regression, and dimensionality reduction.
• Experience with model assessment and validation, including testing, tuning, Chi-square, ROC curves, and root mean square error.
• Experience with trend, sentiment, cluster, and exploratory data analysis using Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib, Plotly, Word2Vec, TF-IDF, K-Means, hierarchical clustering, PCA, and FAMD.
• Experience with CI/CD, testing, software documentation, UML, state and activity workflows, Astah, and Java. Graduate coursework, graduate research, or professional experience may satisfy the required skills.
