Senior Software Engineer (Cloud/Fullstack)

Salary: $129,314.00–$180,000.00 per year, plus annual or quarterly performance incentives.

What you will do

• Analyze customer and business requirements, classify requirement types, identify solution risks, and contribute to user stories.
• Design application components and modules, evaluate trade-offs, and translate high-level designs into detailed functional solutions.
• Build and configure software components that meet functional, security, maintainability, availability, and scalability requirements.
• Create automation scripts for CI/CD, testing, and repetitive processes; implement telemetry and apply security policies.
• Design and execute test cases, manage defects, perform regression testing, and troubleshoot application performance and availability issues.
• Monitor application metrics and logs, conduct maintenance and re-engineering, evaluate change requests, and track project milestones.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or a related field, plus 3 years of software engineering or related experience; or 5 years of software engineering or related experience.
• Experience coding in an object-oriented programming language such as Java, Ruby, or Python.
• Experience designing and testing relational database management systems and building applications with NoSQL databases including MongoDB, DynamoDB, Redis, or Cassandra.
• Experience designing and building custom templates for cloud infrastructure using Helm or Terraform.
• Experience building frontend user interface applications with ReactJS, AngularJS, or EmberJS.
• Experience migrating on-premises services to cloud infrastructure using Amazon AWS or Google Cloud.
• Experience designing and implementing client-server applications and REST APIs.
• Experience with testing suite tools such as Cypress, Selenium, or Cucumber.
• Experience with observability tools for logs and metrics, including Splunk, Datadog, Wavefront, or Elasticsearch. Employer will accept any amount of experience with the required skills.
