Senior Software Engineer (AI/ML)

Salary: $90,000–$180,000 per year, plus annual or quarterly performance incentives.

What you will do

• Own scoped feature, service, API, user-interface, or ML model delivery from implementation through testing, support, and maintenance.
• Write clean, reliable code and execute the full software development lifecycle, including CI/CD, automated testing, observability, monitoring, debugging, and defect management.
• Integrate AI agents and ML components through internal and external APIs and use GenAI tools such as GitHub Copilot.
• Translate high-level designs into detailed technical designs, evaluate trade-offs, and build scalable, secure, and maintainable systems.
• Work with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to define problems, requirements, success metrics, and customer-focused solutions.
• Monitor application performance, support program reporting and delivery milestones, and improve system uptime, quality, and performance.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field plus 1 year of software engineering experience; or bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field plus 3 years of software engineering experience.
• Experience designing and implementing REST APIs and web services using Python and object-oriented programming.
• Experience designing and implementing database systems using Redis.
• Experience designing CI/CD workflows using Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Experience implementing authentication and authorization with JWT tokens and event-driven messaging with Apache Kafka.
• Experience developing and deploying cloud applications using Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience developing and executing unit and integration tests for backend services.
• Experience supporting client service architecture design and implementation, HTTP/HTTPS API communication, and Swagger documentation.
• Experience designing and implementing user-interactive chatbot applications; any amount of experience with the required skills is accepted.
