Software Engineer III, Global Technology (Workday)

Salary: $129,314.00–$180,000.00/year, plus annual or quarterly performance incentives.

What you will do

• Create and deliver application-solution presentations for suppliers, technical staff, and other audiences.
• Develop complex application solutions by gathering business requirements, researching options, performing analysis and design, and preparing technical documentation and change-control checklists.
• Manage application and third-party product upgrades, including release schedules and installation timelines.
• Support Workday applications by coordinating user issue resolution, investigating performance, availability, and reliability, and driving problems to root cause.
• Lead projects and application lifecycle activities, including development, testing, debugging, deployment, documentation, and change management.
• Mentor and teach team members, review solutions, and improve engineering practices and customer communications.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field plus 5 years of software engineering or related experience.
• Experience with Workday Studio and Enterprise Interface Builder, including inbound and outbound integrations.
• Experience with Workday integration tools and templates, including Core Connectors, PICOF, and PECI.
• Experience with Workday Report Writer, calculated fields, custom objects, Workday Services API using SOAP and REST, XML, XSLT, XPath, and XSLT 3.0.
• Experience with Workday security configuration and business process configuration.
• Experience with performance optimization, integration automation, documentation, testing and quality assurance, data analysis, and problem solving.
• Experience with Workday Human Capital Management, Recruiting and Compensation, data quality, and regulatory compliance.
