Financial Analyst (Fintech)

Location: GSC Vertis North, Quezon City, Philippines; in-office 100%

What you will do

• Support month-end close, revenue recognition, journal entries, and account reconciliations under US GAAP.
• Analyze financial performance against budgets, forecasts, and prior-year results to identify trends and explain variances.
• Support planning and forecasting by identifying business drivers and recommending actions to improve financial and operational performance.
• Maintain accurate general ledger data, performance datasets, and effective internal controls.
• Prepare management reporting, resolve financial inquiries, and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and data quality.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and at least three years of experience in financial analysis, performance management, planning, or decision support.
• Strong knowledge of accounting processes, internal controls, financial reporting, and US GAAP, with experience producing accurate and timely results.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including analyzing complex datasets, identifying trends, investigating variances, and communicating recommendations.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet critical deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Clear written, verbal, and presentation skills, with a collaborative and self-directed approach to partnering with stakeholders at different levels and locations.

Nice to have

• Experience with Hyperion Enterprise Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service (EPBCS), Oracle ERP, or similar financial systems.
• Experience improving financial planning, forecasting, reporting, or month-end close processes.
• Experience leading projects or cross-functional initiatives that improved financial performance, data integrity, or decision-making.
