Senior RF Test Engineer I (RF)

Location: Long Beach, California, United States; onsite at hirify.global's global headquarters.

Base pay range: $132,000–$198,000 USD annually.

What you will do

• Develop RF test plans for RF subsystems and payloads.
• Manage and conduct acceptance, qualification, and proto-flight test programs for RF systems.
• Design, procure, and assemble automated test tools for RF subsystems.
• Support the design and development of space flight hardware to improve testability and manufacturability.
• Contribute to engineering, test, design-for-manufacture, engineering change management, and other business processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of experience with RF hardware development and RF testing.
• U.S. citizenship is required due to program requirements.
• For U.S. office roles, candidates must be U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, refugees, asylees, or eligible to obtain applicable ITAR authorizations.
• The role may require prolonged sitting, standing, walking, and computer work, with occasional exposure to moderate noise, dust, and fumes in production areas.

Nice to have

• Understanding of electrical test equipment, test procedures, data acquisition systems, and instrumentation.
• Understanding of hardware design from concept through production.
• Experience with environmental design testing, including vibration, shock, thermal, and TVAC.
• Project or program management skills.
