Senior Program Manager (Aerospace)

Location: Onsite in Buffalo, NY, United States.

Salary: $120,000–$150,000 annually.

What you will do

• Coordinate and manage program activities to ensure compliance with contract requirements.
• Deliver program and project objectives within scope, schedule, and budget using program management principles.
• Develop program plans and detailed schedules, monitor cost and task completion, and manage production program line of balance reporting for customers.
• Lead or support proposal teams and business capture campaigns to sustain and expand the organization’s book of business.
• Resolve issues through daily communication with customers, hirify.global management, and functional organizations.
• Collaborate with OE Program Managers and stakeholders to improve program outcomes and implement process improvements and standard work.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business.
• At least five years of Program Management or similar experience.
• Leadership experience, excellent listening and persuasive skills, team collaboration skills, emotional intelligence, and strong customer orientation.
• Access to US export-controlled information is required.
• Knowledge of project management tools, including Earned Value Management, and experience managing multiple programs.
• Experience working with operations, supply chain, and engineering.
• Experience leading proposal development, negotiating contracts, and managing development program schedule, cost, and risk.
• Excellent communication, presentation, organization, influence, and facilitation skills, including the ability to present program information and navigate high-pressure situations.
