Data Scientist (AI/ML)

What you will do

• Analyze structured and unstructured datasets to produce objective insights for client decision-making.
• Develop and validate machine learning and statistical models, feature vectors, and analytical algorithms.
• Translate customer questions and requirements into analytical solutions.
• Lead data science teams and analytical development efforts.
• Guide teammates and lead the development of algorithms and systems in data-rich environments.

Requirements

• Experience with R, Python, SAS, MATLAB, or other statistical and general-purpose programming languages for data analysis.
• Experience analyzing structured and unstructured datasets.
• Experience developing and validating machine learning or statistical models, feature vectors, and tuned analytical algorithms.
• Experience translating customer requirements into analytical solutions and leading data science teams and analytical development efforts.
• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph is required.
• A bachelor's degree in statistics, mathematics, engineering, computer science, or another quantitative discipline plus 10+ years of relevant experience, or a high school diploma/GED plus 14+ years of relevant experience in machine learning, data mining, advanced statistical analysis, artificial intelligence, or data analysis software development.

Nice to have

• Experience developing statistical tests, experiments, or simulated datasets.
• Experience evaluating models with cross-validation, ROC curves, or confusion matrices.
• Experience transitioning analytical prototypes into production systems and developing scalable analytics for large datasets.
• Experience integrating analytics into production workflows with software or cloud engineers.
• Experience creating data visualizations and analytical reports.
• Experience applying emerging machine learning or pattern recognition algorithms.
