Senior Test Engineer (Medical Devices)

Location: Lafayette, Colorado, United States; onsite work model with regular collaboration in engineering teams, laboratories, and test environments. Travel is expected to be less than 10%.

Salary: $103,200–$154,800 USD annually; eligible for the hirify.global Incentive Plan.

What you will do

• Lead software and system-level verification activities for new product development programs.
• Design, develop, and execute automated and manual GUI, integration, reliability, and system test solutions.
• Create test protocols, procedures, reports, and other documentation demonstrating product compliance and performance.
• Review requirements, designs, and risk controls with software, systems, and quality engineering teams.
• Analyze test results, investigate defects, drive technical issue resolution, and improve test methods and automation capabilities.
• Provide technical leadership, project planning input, mentoring, and testing updates to project stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering with 4+ years of experience, or an advanced degree with 2+ years of experience in software, systems, or test engineering.
• Experience developing and executing software or system verification testing.
• Experience creating technical documentation, test protocols, and test reports.
• Experience working on cross-functional engineering teams throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• For bachelor’s degrees earned outside the United States, the degree must satisfy the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A).
• Roles below the Principal level require unrestricted U.S. work authorization at the time of hire and throughout employment.

Nice to have

• Experience testing regulated medical devices.
• Experience developing test automation frameworks and automated test solutions.
• Experience with GUI, integration, system, and reliability testing methodologies.
• Knowledge of FDA Quality System Regulation requirements.
• Experience leading technical projects or mentoring engineers.
