Fraud Analyst (Fintech)

What you will do

• Review fraud alerts using the Fraud Monitoring System for consumer and business segments in Singapore and across the region.
• Investigate and analyze disputed cardholder transactions.
• Recommend next steps that minimize financial losses while protecting customer experience.
• Collaborate with business functions to maintain smooth end-to-end processes and safeguard company and user interests.
• Identify new fraud patterns, fraudulent merchants, and merchant or acquirer points of compromise for remediation.
• Perform ad-hoc compliance duties.

Requirements

• Strong interest in detecting and preventing fraudulent transactions.
• Astute investigative abilities and excellent attention to detail.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex business issues.
• Understanding of traveller psychology, overseas spending behavior, and associated risks.
• Ability to work independently, propose and implement logical initiatives, and deliver within tight timelines.
