Senior Accountant-Revenue

Location: Remote within the United States; U.S. employees may live in any of the 50 states, with limited exceptions.

Salary: $85,900–$137,100 annually in California, Connecticut, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Washington state, and Washington, DC; $81,500–$130,300 annually in Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Minnesota, Nevada, Ohio, Rhode Island, Vermont, and Virginia. The role is also eligible for equity awards.

What you will do

• Lead the preparation, review, and analysis of journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial schedules.
• Perform month-end and quarter-end close activities, investigate variances, resolve discrepancies, and recommend process improvements.
• Analyze account trends and drivers and prepare summaries for management and internal reporting.
• Partner with Strategic Finance, Tax, Treasury, and business teams on accounting insights, operational questions, and general-ledger initiatives.
• Define accounting requirements, test outcomes, and validate data integrity for system, integration, and workflow changes.
• Maintain controls, standard operating procedures, and documentation while improving automation and audit readiness.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional accounting experience in public accounting, industry, including technology, advertising, or media, or a combination.
• Active CPA license is strongly preferred; foundation in public accounting and strong technical accounting knowledge.
• Experience performing and reviewing period-end close and variance analysis in a high-volume or multi-entity environment.
• Experience with modern ERP and financial systems and tools such as Alteryx Designer or Databricks for data management and accounting workflow improvement.
• Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Google Gemini in accounting or finance environments.
• Advanced Excel skills and interest in working with large datasets.
• Ability to work with urgency, maintain strong attention to detail, prioritize conflicting responsibilities, and independently meet deadlines in a fast-paced, data-driven organization.
