Lead Forward Deployed PM (Mortgage)

Location: On-site in New York City or Palo Alto, United States. Must live in or be willing to relocate to Palo Alto, California, or New York City. Regular travel to customer sites is required.

hirify.global is building a vertically integrated mortgage platform that turns loan origination into a single API for mortgage originators and financial institutions.

What you will do

• Embed with strategic customers to understand their teams, systems, and end-to-end mortgage workflows.
• Map customer processes, identify where hirify.global adds value, and lead integrations from scoping and solution design through data mapping, configuration, testing, and launch.
• Write and ship integrations, scripts, configurations, internal tools, and platform agents; commit changes to the core codebase when needed.
• Replace manual steps, workarounds, and bottlenecks with software while defining and tracking time to go live, adoption, loan volume, and efficiency gains.
• Translate customer needs into product requirements, distinguish one-off requests from core platform capabilities, and collaborate with Product, GTM, and Account Management.
• Own customer engagements, advise executives, build reusable deployment playbooks, and help hire, mentor, and develop the forward deployed team.

Requirements

• 8+ years in software in forward deployed engineering, solutions engineering, technical product management, management, or implementation consulting.
• Experience leading complicated, high-stakes enterprise projects from scoping through launch with measurable business results.
• Direct experience working with C-suite executives and senior technical leaders; able to take charge, deliver difficult news, and align large groups.
• Ability to write production code, work with customer engineering teams, APIs, and data, and commit to a production codebase.
• Ability to understand complex business workflows and turn them into clear product requirements.
• Comfort with ambiguity and managing several customers at once.
• Ability to write SQL.
• Experience building or deploying 0-to-1 enterprise software in a regulated industry.
• Willingness to travel regularly to customer sites and become a trusted mortgage expert over time.

• Mortgage, lending, or fintech experience.
• Experience with mortgage systems such as loan origination systems.
