Analyst/Sr. Analyst Intermodal - Auto Storage (Network Strategy, Design & Innovation)

Location: Fort Worth, TX 76131, at the Fort Worth corporate office; eligible for remote work 1 day per week. Occasional travel may be required.

Salary: $77,040–$96,300 annually, with an annual bonus through the Incentive Compensation Program.

What you will do

• Analyze intermodal and automotive business activities, including storage, embargoes, ancillary charges, facility capacity, and traffic flow.
• Manage and resolve customer disputes related to storage and other activities, primarily through Salesforce.
• Recommend process improvements that help customers reduce or avoid storage and other charges.
• Locate and interpret data supporting departmental initiatives.
• Lead cross-functional efforts with Marketing, Operations, and Equipment.
• Support customer-related activities and additional intermodal, automotive storage, and capacity-management functions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum of one year of experience in a business-related field, accounting, engineering, or transportation is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to consider internal, external, and operational factors when developing and executing strategic plans.
• Excellent interpersonal, analytical, oral, and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments and time-critical activities.
• Results-driven approach and ability to contribute to a positive team environment.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of BNSF, the TSS mainframe transportation system, Salesforce, Tableau, Data Warehouse, and web-based programs.
• Experience in intermodal and/or automotive rail services.
• Ability to learn quickly and develop new skills.
• Ability to understand opposing perspectives while maintaining an independent position.
