Senior Analyst, Financial Account Management

Location: Onsite 4 days a week in North Bethesda, Maryland, United States.

Salary: $65,698–$85,000 per year.

What you will do

• Manage an assigned territory and portfolio of franchisee accounts, owning collection activity, account communication, documentation, and portfolio performance.
• Monitor receivables, aging, payment trends, delinquency, and financial risk; develop account-specific collection strategies and negotiate payment arrangements.
• Evaluate high-risk and delinquent accounts and recommend settlements, defaults, reservation suspensions, enforcement actions, or franchise termination.
• Partner with Legal, Franchise Sales, Franchise Operations, Finance, and other stakeholders on complex collection and franchise relationship matters.
• Analyze portfolio performance and collection outcomes, report emerging risks, identify root causes of delinquency, and recommend process, policy, reporting, and system improvements.
• Share best practices and provide guidance to less experienced team members as appropriate.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
• 4+ years of experience in commercial collections, accounts receivable, credit, financial operations, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience independently managing a portfolio of complex customer or business accounts and negotiating payment arrangements or resolving complex financial disputes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and risk-assessment skills, including the ability to manage a high-volume portfolio and competing priorities independently.
• Strong interpersonal, relationship-management, written, and verbal communication skills, including the ability to navigate difficult conversations and influence stakeholders without direct authority.
• Proficiency with office software and intermediate or higher Excel skills.
• Experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud or similar ERP systems and/or Salesforce.
• Knowledge of franchise agreements and franchise financial operations.
