Lead Application Architect (Test Data Management)

Location: New York, NY; additional locations in Louisville, KY and Boston, MA

Salary: $155,200–$213,400 per year

What you will do

• Lead the architecture, design, and evolution of enterprise Test Data Management solutions for data de-identification, artificial test data generation, test data delivery, leakage detection, and self-service capabilities.
• Design scalable, secure, and reusable solutions for Quality Engineering, application development, and enterprise testing across multiple business and technology domains.
• Establish architecture standards, design patterns, and technical frameworks for cloud, distributed, database, API, and mainframe-integrated solutions.
• Lead architecture reviews, solution design sessions, technical assessments, and implementation oversight for complex initiatives.
• Architect compliant test data provisioning, data quality, monitoring, operational controls, and secure handling of sensitive information.
• Partner with engineering, application, infrastructure, security, compliance, enterprise architecture, and product teams to drive adoption and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Data Management, or a related technical field.
• 8+ years of experience in application architecture, data engineering, software engineering, or enterprise technology solutions.
• Experience leading large-scale technology initiatives involving data platforms, enterprise applications, or cloud-based solutions.
• Deep understanding of data architecture, data integration, databases, APIs, and distributed systems.
• Experience with data privacy, data governance, data protection, de-identification, or regulatory compliance frameworks.
• Experience designing scalable enterprise solutions supporting multiple applications and business domains.
• Ability to influence technical direction and collaborate across architecture, engineering, security, infrastructure, and business teams.
• Demonstrated experience leading technical teams, solution delivery, or architecture initiatives.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for ambiguous and complex technical challenges.
• Passion for contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences.
