What you will do

  • Partner with manufacturing, engineering, quality, supply chain, inventory, operations, IT, and leadership stakeholders to identify and prioritize system needs.
  • Translate business needs into user stories, use cases, process maps, workflow diagrams, functional and nonfunctional requirements, business rules, and acceptance criteria.
  • Create low- and medium-fidelity wireframes, screen flows, navigation concepts, and workflow prototypes for manufacturing tools.
  • Use approved AI tools to generate and refine prototype concepts, workflows, interface copy, test scenarios, and synthetic examples, with human review and appropriate security, privacy, export-control, and data-governance guardrails.
  • Support process improvement and evaluate ERP, MES, QMS, PLM, WMS, inventory, reporting, and related manufacturing solutions for usability, scalability, security, data integrity, and operational risk.
  • Develop and coordinate functional, integration, regression, usability, and user acceptance testing; support defect triage, training, cutover, go-live, and early-production monitoring.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in information systems, business, engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, operations, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • At least three years of experience in business analysis, systems analysis, manufacturing operations, IT delivery, product ownership, UX, or a related role.
  • Experience gathering, analyzing, documenting, and validating business and technical requirements.
  • Experience creating process maps, workflow diagrams, wireframes, user stories, acceptance criteria, test cases, and business documentation.
  • Strong written, verbal, facilitation, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
  • Must be a U.S. Person: a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or protected individual, and must be eligible to obtain required export authorizations.

Nice to have

  • Experience with ERP, MES, MRP, QMS, PLM, WMS, inventory, warehouse, or manufacturing execution systems.
  • Experience in aerospace, space systems, defense, advanced manufacturing, electronics, or another regulated industry.
  • Experience with Figma, FigJam, Miro, Balsamiq, Axure, or comparable wireframing and prototyping tools.
  • Experience with AI-assisted product discovery, interface prototyping, requirements analysis, or test generation.
  • Knowledge of configuration management, product lifecycle management, quality systems, nonconformance, corrective action, and production documentation.
  • Experience with SQL, data analysis, dashboards, APIs, master data, data governance, role-based access, and audit trails.
  • Experience with Agile, Scrum, Kanban, waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies.
