Senior Software Engineer (OutSystems)

Location: Home-based in the United States; U.S. business-hours coverage required.

Salary: $91,300.00–$228,200.00 annualized base pay.

What you will do

• Design, develop, maintain, and architect applications on the LTMS OutSystems platform.
• Provide technical leadership for scalable, performant, secure, and maintainable solutions while reviewing designs and implementations.
• Serve as a U.S. business-hours escalation resource, troubleshoot complex production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement durable corrective actions.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, database, security, product, QA, architecture, and cross-functional teams on integrations and platform reliability.
• Support release planning, change management, deployments, system design, and integrations with Azure services, APIs, and enterprise systems.
• Mentor junior engineers and offshore or globally distributed development teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience; an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
• Senior-level hands-on experience designing, building, architecting, and supporting solutions on the OutSystems platform, including production support.
• Experience with integrations and modern engineering practices, including Azure services, APIs, SDLC, design patterns, and CI/CD or DevOps concepts.
• Ability to lead technical decisions, review implementations, enforce standards, and reduce operational risk and technical debt.
• Strong problem-solving skills for diagnosing production issues, communicating with stakeholders, and driving long-term fixes.
• Effective collaboration skills for translating business needs into technical solutions.
• Ability to coach and mentor junior engineers and globally distributed development teams.
