What you will do
- Coordinate technical operators during newscasts and live or recorded productions.
- Supervise and assign duties to technical control and production staff.
- Monitor pictures, direct camera and video staff on composition, and switch video sources during live broadcasts.
- Work with news producers to deliver clean, high-energy newscasts.
- Liaise between engineering and production departments and test equipment for proper operation.
- Train camera and CG operators and assist with digital content production.
Requirements
- High school diploma.
- Fluency in English.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- At least two years of experience in news operations and production, depending on market size.
- Proficiency with computers, telephones, copiers, scanners, fax machines, and other office equipment.
- Proficiency with broadcast control equipment.
- Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
