Senior Embedded Platform Software Engineer (Automotive)

Location: Hybrid flexibility with remote work from home and occasional office visits when needed; no specific city or country stated.

What you will do

• Join a suitable customer project or hirify.global’s internal product development team based on your background and interests.
• Develop embedded software for vehicles, machines, infrastructure, or related customer solutions.
• Work on low-level microcontroller and RTOS development, drivers, kernels, platform software, or application-side development.
• Collaborate with colleagues and customers to understand needs and develop modern, secure solutions.
• Contribute to internal R&D and solve complex engineering challenges.

Requirements

• Strong skills in embedded C/C++.
• Preferably experience with embedded Linux.
• Experience in at least one embedded area, such as microcontrollers and RTOS, drivers, kernel development, platform-level development, or application-side development.

Nice to have

• Experience with Qt, QML, and/or QNX.
