2027 Guardian Summer MBA Associate, Business Transformation (AI)

Location: New York, NY, United States; hybrid with in-office attendance 3 days per week. Housing is not provided.

Base pay: $12,000–$13,600 per month. The separate $20.00–$35.00 hourly range should be ignored.

What you will do

• Own a substantive workstream tied to 2028 portfolio planning or AI enablement, with a deliverable presented to senior leadership.
• Conduct market, competitor, and internal research to support investment decisions and AI use-case prioritization.
• Build business cases, initiative sizing, value-capture estimates, adoption metrics, and executive-ready materials.
• Partner with value stream leaders, product managers, finance partners, and technology leaders across FPRS.
• Use generative AI tools, design prompts and AI-assisted workflows, and create training materials, prompt libraries, and adoption playbooks.
• Contribute to responsible AI guardrails covering data privacy, accuracy, ethical use, and governance in regulated financial services.

Requirements

• First-year MBA student graduating between December 2027 and June 2028.
• Strong problem-solving skills and business acumen, including the ability to structure ambiguous problems and produce defensible recommendations.
• Proficiency in qualitative and quantitative analysis, financial modeling, opportunity sizing, and working with imperfect data.
• Demonstrated project leadership potential, prioritization of workstreams, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, including Excel Copilot and PowerPoint Designer.
• Genuine curiosity about AI and emerging technology, hands-on experience using generative AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, or Gemini for business problems, prompt design, and iterative model use.
• Working understanding of AI capabilities and limitations, including human judgment, accuracy verification, and responsible-use principles; no coding is required.
• Comfort with Tableau, Power BI, or similar data analytics and visualization tools, and willingness to learn new AI platforms quickly.
• Strong interpersonal skills, maturity, judgment, self-starter mindset, high energy, and willingness to execute.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future. F-1 OPT applicants requiring H-1B status, TN holders, and current H-1B visa holders will not be considered.
• Must be available for the full internship period from May 27, 2027 through August 6, 2027.

• Exposure to AI implementation, digital transformation, process automation, AI-related coursework, projects, or competitions during the MBA.
• Prior experience in consulting, corporate strategy, transformation, product, or technology.
