Operations Manager (Lien Resolution)

Location: Remote work from home, United States; position associated with Charlotte, North Carolina. Must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer.

Salary: $100,000–$115,00 USD annually, with potential annual bonus eligibility.

What you will do

• Manage healthcare recovery vendors, including CMS, BCRC, CRC, state Medicaid recovery units, Optum, Equian, Conduent, and Rawlings.
• Enforce vendor SLAs and architect secure data exchanges for high-volume claimant rosters.
• Optimize single-event personal injury and mass tort/MDL workflows, reducing bottlenecks and turnaround times through automation and case-management updates.
• Establish global holdback structures and settlement grids while maintaining case-level accuracy.
• Lead and scale lien resolution analysts and specialists, set pipeline-specific KPIs, and enforce audit controls across spreadsheets, claimant profiles, and case-management systems.
• Resolve escalated lien disputes and develop dashboards covering mass tort milestones, cycle times, reductions, and clearance rates.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in lien resolution, healthcare subrogation, or settlement administration. Experience must include managing teams across both mass tort and single-event personal injury pipelines.
• Extensive hands-on experience with primary healthcare recovery vendors, including CMS, Optum, and Equian, their processes, portals, and escalation paths.
• Mastery of Medicare Parts A, B, C, and D; Medicaid grids; ERISA compliance; Military coverage including TriCare and VA; and global settlement mechanics.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and data parsing.
• Ability to manage high-level data strategy involving rosters of thousands and detailed audits of complex individual medical demands.
• Ability to stay current with regulatory changes affecting Medicare Secondary Payer compliance, Medicaid recovery rights, and ERISA self-funded frameworks.
