Senior Software Engineer (Sitecore)

Location: Remote within specific U.S. states; occasional travel to offices or client locations may be required.

Estimated salary: $83,000–$160,000 per year.

What you will do

• Collaborate with project teams to identify client requirements and participate in stand-ups, planning, demos, retrospectives, and backlog refinement.
• Design, develop, test, integrate, deploy, troubleshoot, debug, maintain, and improve software applications.
• Ensure delivered code meets security, quality, and accessibility standards.
• Lead or support the engineering portion of product discovery and complex custom product engagements.
• Create technical documentation for future development, onboarding, and client hand-off.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical learning activities.

Requirements

• Approximately 5 years of relevant software engineering experience.
• Experience developing applications for content management systems is expected for Senior Software Engineers.
• Ability to work autonomously with high-level goals and little to no supervision, break work into steps, and manage multiple features across projects.
• Advanced knowledge of engineering practices and processes, with the ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• Ability to manage client expectations, handle difficult conversations, inform project schedules, and delegate work to meet deadlines.
• Ability to lead engineering discovery, produce useful documentation, and maintain a low level of feature rework caused by quality issues.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Ability to remain stationary and operate a computer throughout the workday, communicate with clients and coworkers, and occasionally transport items weighing 10 lbs or less.
