Senior Transformation Director (AI)

Location: Kitchener, Ontario

Salary: $123,000–$150,000 CAD annual base salary, with potential eligibility for benefits, equity grants, and variable incentives.

What you will do

• Lead hirify.global’s Artificial Intelligence Transformation Office portfolio and turn AI opportunities into measurable operational outcomes.
• Develop AI literacy and enablement through programs, cohorts, playbooks, office hours, reusable patterns, and responsible-use guidance.
• Partner with business-unit leaders to identify high-impact use cases, build the transformation roadmap, and report portfolio health, adoption, risks, and realized value.
• Redesign processes, workflows, roles, decision rights, and handoffs while defining the target technology footprint across AI, automation, integrations, and existing systems.
• Lead adoption and sustained use through people-first change practices, transition planning, feedback, retrospectives, and support for teams where adoption stalls.
• Work with Information Technology, Security, Legal, and Privacy to ensure solutions are responsible, secure, supportable, and aligned with hirify.global standards.

Requirements

• 10+ years of progressive experience leading business operations, process improvement, organizational change, and enterprise transformation.
• Hands-on fluency with current AI tools and sufficient technical depth to assess feasibility, effort, and risk with technical partners.
• Strong understanding of process redesign, operating-model change, adoption, and value realization.
• Ability to translate strategic priorities into practical transformation plans and measurable outcomes.
• Strong business acumen, systems thinking, judgment, and prioritization skills.
• Exceptional ability to influence across functions and work effectively with senior stakeholders and executive governance bodies.
• Practical focus on adoption, execution, and sustained business outcomes.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business, Operations, Technology, Organizational Development, or a related field.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting major enterprise change.
• Working familiarity with current AI technologies, enterprise systems, workflow automation, and modern operating-model practices.
• Certification in transformation, process improvement, change management, agile, or project/program management, including Lean Six Sigma, PMP, CSM, SAFe, or equivalent.
