Senior Mobile Engineer - iOS

What you will do

• Design, build, test, and maintain iOS applications and SDKs using Swift, Xcode, and Apple platform frameworks.
• Shape mobile architecture using object-oriented design, design patterns, concurrency, threading, and lifecycle management.
• Build polished UIKit and SwiftUI interfaces, including custom components and animations.
• Partner with product, design, backend, QA, and engineering teams from discovery through acceptance testing and release.
• Use AI-assisted development tools for code exploration, test generation, investigation, and automation while critically reviewing and validating outputs.
• Improve security, privacy, performance, reliability, compatibility, engineering practices, and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• B.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or relevant military training.
• At least 7 years of application development experience, including substantial hands-on iOS development with Swift and Xcode.
• Strong experience in mobile system design, object-oriented design, design patterns, multithreading, and application architecture.
• Deep understanding of iOS frameworks, view and application lifecycles, object lifetimes, and concurrency.
• Strong UIKit and SwiftUI engineering skills, including custom components and animations.
• Experience integrating HTTP, JSON, and RESTful web services; working knowledge of Objective-C and mixed-language codebases.
• Familiarity with differences across iOS versions and devices and with building resilient experiences across them.
• Ability to work independently, identify priorities, communicate early when support or alignment is needed, and collaborate effectively.
• Clear written and spoken English, strong interpersonal skills, and curiosity about AI-assisted software development with a commitment to validating code and tests.

Nice to have

• Experience with Git and collaborative code review.
• Experience developing SDKs or reusable mobile components.
• Android development or cross-platform mobile experience.
• Experience with security-sensitive applications, identity, or authentication.
• Experience creating or using coding-agent workflows, reusable agent skills, or other AI-enabled engineering tools.
