iOS Engineer (Travel)

Location: Hybrid in Amsterdam (must be in the office 2 days a week)

What you will do

• Implement and improve app features within a cross-functional Product Pillar team.
• Collaborate closely with PMs, designers, and other engineers from problem to solution.
• Maintain day-to-day operations of the iOS application to ensure top-quality user experience.
• Proactively improve maintainability, resiliency, and extensibility while addressing technical debt.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of hands-on iOS development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Swift, UIKit, and SwiftUI.
• Experience with multithreading using GCD, Combine, and Swift Concurrency.
• Knowledge of Realm and experience with large-scale apps published in the App Store.
• Experience setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines via Fastlane and GitHub Actions.
• Must be based in or able to work from the Amsterdam office 2 days a week.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with legacy Objective-C code.
• Experience with Swift Package Manager.
• Proficiency with Xcode instruments for performance and memory optimization.
• Experience leveraging AI tools like Claude Code or ChatGPT Codex to improve development efficiency.
