Commercial Loan Fulfillment Team Manager (Commercial Banking)

Location: Riverchase Complex North Building, 2050 Parkway Office Circle, Hoover, Alabama 35244, United States of America; onsite, full-time

Salary range target: $96,361.10–$119,510.00 USD; may participate in an annual discretionary bonus plan.

What you will do

• Lead loan fulfillment specialists and oversee commercial loan closing requirements.
• Provide expertise on credit, loan documentation, closing due diligence, regulatory requirements, and department systems.
• Resolve escalated and complex issues and serve as the primary contact for business partners on team performance and transactions.
• Manage daily production, scheduling, pipeline participation, and performance metrics including quality, capacity, and document exceptions.
• Train, coach, and support staff through team meetings and development sessions.
• Handle staffing, performance reviews, promotions, terminations, process improvement, and risk management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and five years of loan fulfillment, loan processing, or related experience; or a high school diploma/GED and nine years of related experience.
• Knowledge of commercial credit, loan documentation policies, and regulatory requirements including BSA/AML, Beneficial Ownership, OFAC, and Flood Regulations.
• Ability to solve complex customer problems, manage time effectively, and communicate clearly in writing and verbally.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word and strong understanding of applications, bank operating systems, and programs used in loan fulfillment.
• Strong attention to detail, interpersonal skills, self-motivation, work ethic, urgency, and ability to lead by example.
