Mid-Level Java/GCP Technical Lead

Location: Lisbon, Portugal; hybrid work with up to three remote days per week. Candidates must already have the legal right to work in the European Union.

Salary: €3,990–€4,830 monthly under a B2B arrangement, or €2,150–€2,450 net monthly under a permanent contract.

What you will do

• Lead the technical design and implementation of solutions across cloud infrastructure and application layers.
• Define and manage Google Cloud Platform infrastructure with Terraform.
• Develop backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud.
• Build and enhance frontend applications with Angular.
• Design and maintain PostgreSQL-based data solutions.
• Containerize and deploy applications with Docker while ensuring reliable, scalable, and maintainable delivery across technical areas.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of professional experience in software development or technical leadership.
• Strong knowledge of Google Cloud Platform.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform and Docker.
• Professional experience with Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud.
• Experience developing applications with Angular.
• Proficiency in PostgreSQL and knowledge of Python.
• Ability to work across cloud infrastructure, backend, frontend, and data layers.
• Fluent English.
• Existing legal right to work in the European Union is required.

Nice to have

• French language skills.
• Experience acting as the technical owner of a business information system.
