Senior Fullstack Developer (Python)

Location: Remote; preferred regions are Europe and LATAM. The posting header also states On-Site. Required time zone overlap: GMT-4 to GMT+3.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services with Python and Flask.
• Build and enhance frontend applications using React, TypeScript, Redux, and React Query.
• Develop microservices communicating through gRPC and design database interactions with SQLAlchemy and PostgreSQL.
• Deploy, monitor, and maintain cloud-native services in Kubernetes using AWS services including S3, RDS, and SQS.
• Monitor performance, investigate production incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive solutions with Grafana, Honeycomb, or similar tools.
• Participate in code reviews, architecture decisions, technical discussions, CI/CD, deployment automation, and engineering improvements.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong Python expertise and hands-on experience with Flask or similar Python web frameworks.
• Solid knowledge of SQLAlchemy and relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL.
• Experience designing and supporting microservices architectures, including practical gRPC communication between services.
• Strong frontend development skills with React, TypeScript, Redux, and React Query.
• Experience deploying and maintaining applications in Kubernetes environments and working with AWS services such as S3, RDS, and SQS.
• Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools including Grafana, Honeycomb, or similar platforms.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
• Experience working in distributed international teams and English proficiency at Upper-Intermediate (B2) or higher.
