Principal Consultant - Energy Supply Chain

Location: Hybrid, working in close proximity to an office in Houston, Boston, New York, or Calgary; expected in the office 2–3 days per week. The role requires travel 60–80% of the time and is not eligible for part-time or flexible working arrangements.

What you will do

• Lead energy client projects and remain accountable for the quality of analytics, solutions, and presentations.
• Manage relationships with clients from the C-suite through Supply Chain, Project Management, Engineering, and Business Development teams.
• Oversee junior Supply Chain Consulting staff and drive successful project execution.
• Develop project work plans, objectives, and deliverables; report progress, revenue recognition, and profitability metrics to management.
• Identify opportunities for additional hirify.global consulting services and products and partner with stakeholders to close deals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; a Master’s degree is preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in Consulting, Supply Chain, Operations, or Engineering; Power & Renewables and/or Oil & Gas experience is preferred.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, project/time management, and managerial skills.
• Strong technical writing skills, including persuasive documents and high-impact storylines.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills across a broad range of clients.
• Proven success working both as an individual contributor and team leader in a team-oriented environment.
• Ability to coach junior staff, lead a dynamic and cohesive team, learn quickly, adapt to client needs, and focus on solutions.
• Commitment to developing areas of expertise and delivering results in a changing business environment.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree.
• Experience in the Power & Renewables and/or Oil & Gas sectors.
