Director - Funding & Liquidity

Location: London, UK; hybrid working with at least two days per week or 40% of working time at the London office.

What you will do

• Define and lead Corporate & Institutional Banking’s funding, liquidity and transfer pricing strategy.
• Ensure strategy supports balance sheet, regulatory and commercial objectives.
• Provide executive oversight of the Treasury Transfer Pricing framework, including systems, controls and governance improvements.
• Shape funding structures, resource allocation and sustainable returns with senior stakeholders across Coverage, Origination, Risk, Finance, Treasury and Product.
• Champion advanced analytics, AI and emerging technologies for funding, liquidity and balance sheet decision making.
• Represent the function in governance forums and build a high-performing team through coaching, sponsorship and talent development.

Requirements

• 7+ years of financial industry experience in funding, liquidity, treasury, transfer pricing, balance sheet management or related financial disciplines, including experience shaping strategy and influencing executive-level outcomes.
• Confirmed leadership experience in setting strategic goals, building and developing high-performing teams and leading organisational change.
• Experience using advanced analytics, AI or innovative technologies to improve decision making, drive transformation and build commercial value.
• Strong strategic and commercial judgement, translating complex market, regulatory and balance sheet challenges into actionable solutions that support sustainable growth.
• Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, with credibility to engage, challenge and influence senior executives and contribute to ALCO, FRM and Executive-level forums.
