Risk Ops Engineer (Fintech)

Location: Hybrid in Limassol, Cyprus

What you will do

• Own the end-to-end Decision-Making System lifecycle, including architecture, deployment pipelines, monitoring, code cleanup, and performance optimization.
• Translate risk rules, business logic, and application, behavioral, and fraud ML scoring models into production-ready software with Risk Analysts and Data Scientists.
• Lead developers delivering the DMS for the lending business, including code reviews, release management, and performance evaluations.
• Reduce time-to-market for credit strategy updates through modern delivery workflows, automated regression and retrospective testing, and removal of legacy release dependencies.
• Evolve high-volume Golang and AWS microservices and integrate credit bureaus, collection platforms, and fraud detection services through REST APIs and event-driven pipelines.

Requirements

• 7+ years of total backend engineering experience with deep expertise in fintech, credit conveyors, loan processing, debt collection systems, or automated decisioning engines.
• Experience with a popular decision engine such as gorules, n8n, Camunda, SAS RTDM, or FICO Blaze Advisor.
• Strong expertise in Golang and Python, plus build tools such as GitLab CI.
• Proficiency with relational and non-relational databases, including MySQL, AuroraDB, DynamoDB, and GBQ.
• Hands-on experience with modern CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI and GitHub Actions, Docker, Prometheus, and Grafana.
