Lead Strategy Consultant (AI)

Location: Philadelphia, Tampa, Chicago, or Dallas/Austin, United States; open to candidates residing in the United States, with in-office, hybrid, or remote flexibility.

Salary: $130,000–$150,000 USD annually, plus eligibility for commission, bonus, or other incentive compensation where applicable.

What you will do

• Own strategy consulting workstreams and client engagements end-to-end, managing quality, timelines, budgets, and outcomes.
• Lead workshops and senior-client conversations to uncover root causes, challenge assumptions, define success, and identify high-value opportunities.
• Develop executable strategies, strategic priorities, actionable recommendations, and practical roadmaps focused on measurable business outcomes.
• Evaluate people, processes, operating models, experiences, data, technology, and AI opportunities; lead business cases and investment recommendations.
• Work with advisory, design, data, AI, and engineering teams to translate strategy into tangible solutions and outcomes.
• Build executive relationships, support proposals and new engagements, contribute to thought leadership, and mentor other consultants.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in strategy, management, business, or technology consulting, with a proven record of leading client engagements and influencing senior stakeholders.
• Ability to enter conversations without a predefined problem or solution, uncover opportunities, challenge assumptions, and guide clients toward strategic direction and business outcomes.
• Strong critical thinking, intellectual curiosity, root-cause investigation, empathy, creativity, judgment, and human-centered thinking.
• Executive presence and experience engaging C-suite leaders, building trust, navigating complex stakeholder environments, and influencing strategic decisions.
• Commercial and business acumen, including connecting goals to financial and operational outcomes, quantifying opportunities, and building business cases involving revenue, margin, cost, risk, and ROI.
• Curiosity about emerging technologies and hands-on experience using AI to enhance work; ability to understand AI value and limitations and collaborate with technical teams.
• Experience translating strategy into practical roadmaps, actionable recommendations, measurable outcomes, and delivery plans.
• Experience assessing organizational capabilities, business processes, governance, and operating models.
• Experience managing, mentoring, or coaching consultants; exceptional written and verbal communication; high standards for rigor, accuracy, quality, and accountability.
