QA Automation Engineer (JavaScript) in the EU

Location: Remote, office-based, or hybrid within Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, or The Netherlands.

Salary: EUR 1,160–1,800 gross per month. Additional annual bonus of up to USD 1,000 per month may be available depending on expertise and company activities.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain automated tests with Playwright and TypeScript/JavaScript.
• Execute manual and automated testing, create test cases and plans, and maintain testing documentation.
• Perform REST API testing with Postman and analyze results, defects, logs, and root causes.
• Integrate and maintain automated tests in CI/CD pipelines and assist with production and test-environment troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with Developers, Product Owners, and QA colleagues in requirements reviews, sprint activities, and quality planning.
• Improve test coverage, automation frameworks, QA processes, reporting, and quality metrics.

Requirements

• 1.5+ years of software testing experience, including hands-on test automation.
• Hands-on manual testing experience.
• Good working knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright for automated testing.
• Solid REST API testing experience using Postman or similar tools.
• Upper-Intermediate English or higher.

Nice to have

• Jenkins and CI/CD pipeline experience.
• Salesforce testing knowledge.
• Elastic Stack and log troubleshooting knowledge.
