Director, Clinical Systems Operations (Pharmacy)

Location: Remote in the United States, including Florida and the listed eligible states; supports Eastern or Central business hours. Travel up to 30%.

Salary: $134,600–$249,000 per year.

What you will do

• Lead the development, implementation, functionality, and operation of clinical systems supporting pharmacy programs.
• Coordinate 50+ clinical program and initiative workflows and more than 10,000 programmed communications with an annual volume exceeding 8 million.
• Define business rules that connect eligibility, medical, and pharmacy claims data to identify populations and medication-related problems.
• Manage program triage to pharmacists and technicians based on program type, language, and state board of pharmacy licensure rules.
• Oversee system documentation, enhancements, business cases, requirements, regulatory programming, reporting, defects, integrations, vendor activities, and UAT.
• Lead a team of 11, including 4 direct reports, while partnering with IT and business functions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Computer Science, Business Administration, MIS, or a clinical-related field, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of applications, project management, or implementation experience.
• Previous management experience hiring, training, assigning work, and managing staff performance.
• Experience overseeing clinical systems and programs, including system design, requirements gathering, implementation, upgrades, issue resolution, and performance improvement.
• Ability to provide direction across business functions and align systems with standard solutions and processes.
• Ability to travel up to 30% of the time.
