Senior Security Specialist

Location: Hanscom AFB, Bedford, Massachusetts, United States; onsite.

Salary: $85,000–$95,000 annually, depending on experience, certifications, and qualifications.

hirify.global provides support to the HNI Enterprise within the C3I and Infrastructure Division at Hanscom AFB.

What you will do

• Provide visitor control and program security administration for personnel, information, and physical access security.
• Verify visitor identification, sponsorship, clearance status, access needs, badges, prohibited items, packages, and assigned personnel credentials.
• Manage visitor-control databases, physical access controls, intrusion detection systems, alarms, secure-facility opening and closing, and end-of-day security checks.
• Execute emergency procedures for bomb threats, active shooters, force protection, antiterrorism, fire evacuation, and other incidents, including after-hours alarm response.
• Develop facility Standard Operating Procedures, Emergency Action Plans, security documentation, and self-inspection programs; support classified meetings and general Information Protection functions.
• Serve as Site Security Manager for secure-facility renovation projects, overseeing security requirements, construction controls, and escort procedures.

Requirements

• Top Secret clearance required.
• Familiarity with security policies, manuals, and applicable DoD and Air Force directives, manuals, and instructions.
• Familiarity with DISS or its successor system.
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment and interact effectively with DoD personnel, military and civilian personnel, and industry partners.
• Ability to accurately convey information in written and verbal formats.
• Ability to identify classified documents and information and apply proper safeguarding procedures.
• Ability to complete required security training in accordance with DoD and Air Force regulations for security-assistant duties.
• Willingness to adapt to a contingency schedule during unusual emergencies or critical mission-support situations.

Nice to have

• Experience with RF shielding.
