Security Analyst

Location: Huntsville, Alabama, United States; onsite at the SMDC Technical Center.

What you will do

• Coordinate security activities and requirements with SMDC division chiefs, staff elements, technical monitors, and contracting representatives.
• Provide guidance and policy interpretation across information security, access control, physical security, OPSEC, and COMSEC.
• Perform risk assessments, pre-inspections, metric analysis, and written reporting for the SMDC Security Manager.
• Develop and maintain security documentation, databases, spreadsheets, records, and controls.
• Support personnel in-processing and out-processing, security visits, investigations, classified-material handling, COMSEC activities, and destruction of classified and CUI material.
• Attend meetings, support compliance activities, and provide additional security support, including after-hours coverage when mission needs require it.

Requirements

• At least two years of experience as a Security Manager or Facility Security Officer (FSO).
• Experience performing information security, physical security, and personnel security functions.
• Experience preparing and reviewing security documentation, processing personnel, and maintaining security records and controls.
• Active Secret security clearance.
