Manager, Project Operations (Robotics)

Location: USA Remote & Travel; up to 30% travel may be required to client locations and company headquarters.

Salary: $120,750–$177,100 base pay annually.

What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and develop Regional Project Coordinators supporting complex automation deployments across multiple programs and regions.
• Own and continuously improve execution-stage Stage Gate and CRAM processes, including governance, readiness criteria, documentation, risk management, and follow-through.
• Oversee regional reporting cadences, status updates, milestone scorecards, action tracking, and escalation of blocked or at-risk deliverables.
• Partner with Project Directors, Regional Deployment Leads, Supply Chain leadership, and cross-functional stakeholders on critical site deployment milestones.
• Consolidate regional status, milestone, and risk data into portfolio dashboards and operational reviews for senior leadership.
• Improve tools, procedures, templates, workflows, documentation, audit readiness, and operational consistency across Smartsheet, SharePoint, Excel, Jira, and BI platforms.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in Program Management, PMO Operations, or Project Management within complex, multi-site project environments or related fields.
• At least 2 years of direct people management, including leading, mentoring, and developing remote or geographically distributed teams.
• Practical expertise in stage-gate or phase-gate governance, milestone gating, formal risk and issue management, and governance or compliance metrics.
• Experience partnering with senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Advanced proficiency with Excel and experience with project management, reporting, and workflow tools such as Smartsheet, Jira, SharePoint, Tableau, or other BI platforms.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive and/or fly to client locations and company headquarters.

Nice to have

• Experience with warehouse automation, industrial systems integration, construction, capital project delivery, or audit readiness.
• PMP or CAPM certification.
