Clinical Consultant (Cardiology)

Location: Remote, with a preferred home base in Boston, MA; Pittsburgh, PA; Orlando, FL; or Charlotte, NC. Travel up to 80% with overnight stays, including work in hospital and clinical settings.

Salary: $88,000–$121,000 annually.

What you will do

• Provide clinical and application support for vital sign and cardiology products in hospital and clinic settings.
• Partner with sales during presales activities, onsite meetings, demonstrations, clinical evaluations, and account support.
• Deliver customer training, provide post-training follow-up, and identify customer complaints or issues for resolution.
• Assess sales-force training needs and collaborate with marketing to develop new and refresher training programs.
• Collect customer suggestions for product enhancements and collaborate with business and project management on recommendations.
• Maintain training and customer communication records in Salesforce.com and participate in a Monday–Friday, one-week rotational clinical on-call program.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• At least two years of experience in critical care, an emergency department, post-anesthesia, a telemetry unit, or another related health practice.
• Experience educating medical and non-medical personnel through formal staff development, a preceptor program, or public speaking.
• Knowledge of cardiac arrhythmia, hemodynamic, pulmonary artery, and cardiac output monitoring.
• Excellent oral, written, interpersonal, presentation, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to build relationships easily while working independently and remaining self-motivated.
• Ability to travel up to 80% and stay overnight as required.
