Senior Structures Engineer (Aerospace)

Location: Torrance, California, United States; work is performed in an office environment.

Salary: $100,980–$247,005 USD per year, depending on evaluated level E03–E07.

What you will do

• Create CAD models, finite element models, and bills of materials for aerospace structures.
• Perform structural analysis, validation, and optimization.
• Support prototype builds, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and test teams across the product lifecycle.
• Maintain engineering documentation and support product releases.
• Contribute to process, weight, and cost improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• BS/MS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years of structural engineering experience.
• Experience with CAD and PLM.
• Experience with Nastran, OptiStruct, LS-DYNA, or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of aerospace structures and materials.
• Ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards in an office environment.
