Electrical Connectivity Design Engineer (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

Location: Eindhoven, Netherlands. The role requires legal authorization to access technology controlled under United States Export Administration Regulations.

What you will do

• Define, document and maintain electrical modules, wiring infrastructure, cable overviews and detailed wiring designs for DUV lens and illuminator qualification tools.
• Represent Electronic Development in multidisciplinary project teams and align technical solutions with stakeholders across departments.
• Perform trade-off studies, make technical decisions and improve architectures for integrability, manufacturability, testability and reliability.
• Create work breakdowns and effort estimates, and support external co-developers when needed.
• Support test-rig integration, troubleshooting, electrical measurements, requirements validation and qualification activities.
• Contribute to the imaging test-rig roadmap, EMC testing and related documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in electrical engineering or a related field.
• Multiple years of experience designing electronic functions and working in multidisciplinary development teams.
• Experience defining specifications, aligning technical solutions with multiple stakeholders, and making pragmatic technical decisions.
• Broad electronics knowledge with basic understanding of physics, mechanics, mechatronics and software.
• Experience with electrical infrastructure, wiring definitions or connectivity design.
• Experience supporting system integration, verification or qualification activities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, a structured approach, attention to detail, and focus on quality, accuracy and documentation.
• Strong communication, collaboration, initiative and ownership skills.
• Fluent written and verbal English communication skills.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of PCB design.
