Authentication Services Technical Specialist (Microsoft Entra ID)

Location: London; hybrid working with 2 days per week at the Osterley hirify.global office. Candidates must have the right to work in the UK; visa sponsorship is not available.

What you will do

• Provide business-as-usual technical support for Authentication Services in the Telecoms Management Environment, including out-of-hours support through an on-call rota.
• Support and operate enterprise authentication platforms including Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, DNS and DHCP.
• Maintain server patching, resolve vulnerabilities and provide evidence for Telecoms Security Act compliance audits.
• Identify and propose improvements to services, processes and managed technologies, including automation opportunities.
• Help develop secure, resilient and supportable solutions and maintain platform service quality through analytical problem solving and prioritisation.
• Assist with regular recovery exercises in a safe and segregated environment.

Requirements

• Relevant industry experience supporting and engineering enterprise-scale technology platforms in a high-pressure, fast-moving environment.
• Troubleshooting and analytical skills, including experience resolving complex technical problems and identifying emerging risks.
• Willingness to use automation to improve platform operations and service outcomes.
• Hands-on experience supporting authentication and infrastructure technologies, including Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, DNS and DHCP.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, energy, enthusiasm and a strong commitment to excellent service.
• Appropriate right to work in the UK is required; hirify.global does not offer visa sponsorship for this position.
