What you will do

• Manage and develop a team of three IT professionals across the UK and US.
• Define and implement team standards, SLAs, and escalation protocols.
• Oversee helpdesk queue management, ensuring efficient ticket triage and resolution.
• Manage hardware assets, user lifecycles, and M365 administration.
• Provide hands-on networking support, including VPN, switch management, and connectivity troubleshooting.
• Maintain security operations, including policy enforcement, MFA compliance, and phishing simulations.

Requirements

• Proven experience leading and developing a small IT team.
• Strong background in managing helpdesk or service desk functions.
• Solid knowledge of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VLANs.
• Working knowledge of Windows Server environments.
• Experience with M365 or Google Workspace administration.
• Demonstrable experience in user lifecycle and access management.

Nice to have

• Experience with Intune or MDM device management.
• Background in running security awareness activities.
• Experience working in a multi-site or international IT environment.
• Familiarity with managed security models like MDR or SIEM.
