Computer Operations Analyst

Location: Leicester, Leicestershire, United Kingdom; onsite at the hirify.global Head Office. 4-on-4-off 12-hour shift rota, including some night shifts, 38.5 hours per week.

Salary: From £37,818 per year.

What you will do

• Monitor core systems and infrastructure across Microsoft Azure cloud and on-premises environments.
• Execute operational tasks, batch jobs, system maintenance, and procedures accurately and on schedule.
• Administer and troubleshoot servers and platforms including Windows Server, Mainframe, VMware, Akamai, and Citrix NetScaler.
• Manage, log, and resolve incidents using ServiceNow and ITIL operational practices, including P1 incident evaluation and callouts.
• Collaborate with technology teams on rollouts, deployments, major outages, and business continuity.

Requirements

• Technical exposure to IT Service Operations, server administration, and monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, Zabbix, or Grafana.
• Practical understanding of PowerShell and foundational knowledge of Windows Server environments in Azure or on-premises.
• Clear, confident written and spoken English communication skills.
• Strong decision-making skills and confidence during critical system events.
• Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills for managing multiple incidents in a fast-paced environment.
• Proactive, results-driven approach, willingness to learn new technologies, and a supportive team-oriented attitude.
• Flexibility to support the 4-on-4-off shift rotation, major system rollouts, and critical outages.
