Senior Project Manager (AMLA)

Location: Warsaw, Gdańsk, Gdynia or Łódź, Poland; hybrid work with 3 days per week from the office.

Rate: 135 PLN/h net + VAT on a B2B basis.

What you will do

• Lead complex initiatives and translate business strategy, regulatory requirements, and priorities into actionable deliveries.
• Establish execution frameworks, governance structures, reporting models, and delivery processes.
• Coordinate business, legal, data, and technology stakeholders across multiple workstreams and legal entities.
• Manage programme risks, dependencies, escalations, decisions, and organisational change activities.
• Build high-performing teams and coach project managers, analysts, and delivery teams.
• Coordinate AMLA-related changes, information sharing, data sourcing, repository integration, onboarding, system, and procedural changes.

Requirements

• Extensive experience as a Project Manager, Senior Project Manager, Programme Manager, or Lead Project Leader.
• Proven experience delivering large-scale, cross-functional transformation programmes.
• Strong experience in programme governance, risk management, dependency management, and executive reporting.
• Ability to coordinate multiple workstreams across diverse stakeholders and organisational units.
• Strong banking or financial services experience.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with strong leadership and the ability to work independently and drive delivery outcomes.
• Advanced English.
• Readiness to provide a criminal record certificate (KRK).

Nice to have

• Experience in AML, KYC, compliance, or regulatory programmes.
• Hands-on exposure to transaction monitoring and data sourcing initiatives.
