Senior AI Security Engineer (AI)

Location: Fully remote within Spain; locations include Madrid, Barcelona, or Valencia.

What you will do

• Translate AI security risks and strategic goals into practical security controls, technical standards, and architecture patterns.
• Conduct AI security assessments, architecture reviews, threat modelling, and security testing for AI and Machine Learning solutions.
• Collaborate with development, platform, and cybersecurity teams to integrate security controls into AI applications and cloud environments.
• Define security requirements for AI applications, models, data, agents, identities, and integrations.
• Support secure AI engineering processes, monitoring, incident readiness, and risk mitigation controls.
• Track trends and technologies in AI Security, Cybersecurity, and Generative AI.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Cybersecurity, Security Engineering, Application Security, Cloud Security, or a similar role.
• At least 1 year of hands-on experience working with AI solutions, ideally as an AI Engineer or in a closely related AI development and security role.
• Good understanding of Machine Learning, Generative AI, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and Agentic AI architectures.
• Experience with security architecture, threat modelling, secure development practices, cloud security, IAM, and secrets management.
• Familiarity with AI security risks, security testing, and development pipeline controls.
• Experience performing security assessments, architecture reviews, and security testing.
• Fluent English, written and spoken.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in multidisciplinary and international teams.
